What is the Creator Fund?
It’s a program that rewards and supports TikTok creators for their popular and innovative content. The intention of this fund is to help creators and give them opportunities to earn money from their content production and turn “their passion into a livelihood.” With TikTok committing $200 million and expecting for the fund to grow to $1 billion over the course of three years in the U.S. alone, it’s clear that the intention of the program is to grow and expand.

Who is eligible?
To participate in TikTok’s Creator Fund, creators must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or older
- A legal resident in the U.S.
- Have a minimum of 10k ‘authentic’ followers
- Have a minimum of 100k views in the past 30 days
- Lastly, post original videos
According to TikTok, there are several different factors and elements that influence how creators are payed and how their funds are calculated. Specifically, those elements are video views, video engagement, and making sure posted videos align with the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
