Because the coronavirus pandemic is not yet behind us, these countries had to be cautious of reopening their borders to tourists too soon. But, the wait is over! Whether you had hoped to travel this Summer or not, coming this Fall, here is a list of countries that reopened.
In addition, the Delta Variant continues to grow rapidly, leaving some U.S. states overwhelmed by Covid cases.
According to CNN Travel, “in the end, it’s up to you to decide whether travel to international destinations is a good idea. The health risks are obvious if you’re not fully vaccinated. Nations might change their rules at any time. You may have to adhere to strict curfews and mask mandates. Violations could involve big fines and even jail time.”
Countries That Reopened
The arrival of a new season could also mean a perfect time to plan ahead and book a flight. While some listed destinations were closed off due to Covid-19, the wait is over. You can now relive some fond memories at these destinations, or create new ones. Even though travel may be different for quite a while, that shouldn’t stop you from getting out of the house. After all, it’s now or never. However, be safe by wearing a mask indoors. It’s better to be safe than sorry!
Lastly, if you don’t see a country that you were hoping to see, check out another list here. Besides, the list of countries that reopened continues to change, especially given the new variant affecting vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
