Throughout the year, Apple releases seasonal events and announces their newest products and company updates. Apple’s most recent event was held this past October 13, 2020, and announced its current and upcoming product line. The event was streamed, lasting over an hour-long, and had more than 32 million views on Youtube in just a day after the video was released. This season’s lineup previewed the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and MagSafe accessories to deck out your apple gear. The event additionally publicized the upcoming iPhone 12 Max Pro, iPhone Max Mini, and HomePod Mini.
All of their new phones feature 5G speed, MagSafe compatibilities, a ceramic shield that has 4x better drop performance, and the fastest chip in any smartphone (A14 bionic ), and an OLED display.
More About Each:
5G Speed – “5G on iPhone is super fast. So you can download movies on the fly. Stream higher-quality videos or FaceTime in HD over cellular. With a lot less lag.”
A14 Bionic – “A14 is the fastest chip in a smartphone, And it pushes what’s possible. Like crunching trillions of operations on the Neural Engine. Or shooting in Dolby Vision — even pro movie cameras can’t do that. It’s super efficient for great battery life. And it’s ahead of its time, prepared to power pretty much anything that comes next.” -Apple
OLED Display – “OLED delivers brighter brights, darker blacks, and higher resolution for everything you look at. This is the best iPhone display we’ve ever made, and it goes all the way to the edge.” -Apple
