Summer is…..casual. Even if you’re not technically on vacation, the warm weather and constant stream of fun outdoor activities simply scream chill. So, why shouldn’t your Instagram feed emulate this? I’ve been a big fan of the “casual Instagram” for a while now. And, with all the random photos I’ve been taking, it feels like the perfect season to start posting relaxed, casual content. No one masters the casual mirror selfie like the influencer of all influencers, Kendall Jenner. She does “casual” while still managing to capture a stunning photo (likely due to the professional makeup artist and multi-million dollar mansion at her disposal, but who knows?). Emulate her look by snapping a mirror smolder pre-night out. You probably won’t get 9 million likes, but the pic will definitely elevate your feed.

Showing off your Moschino dress in a Photo Booth shoot? I have to say, I’m pretty obsessed. YouTuber and Insta influencer Lexi Lombard’s Instagram is a must-follow. She keeps her content relaxed, but still manages to show off her amazing style.

TikTok’s NYC it-girl is relatively new to her Insta platform. But, she’s already managed the funny, random style of a casual insta post. Here, Paris posts a fun little video of her and her boyfriend dancing in loungewear on the street outside of a bank. Random? Yes. Adorable? Absolutely.
Emma Chamberlain
Emma gained fast fame in 2017 for her laid-back style of vlogging and video creation. So, it’s no surprise that she’s mastered the casual instagram post as well. The best part of a casual Instagram post is being able to string together any and every photo you want into a slideshow to both confuse and entertain your followers. Here’s Emma with her classic coffee, a seagull, and a strawberry. I don’t really understand what’s going on, but that’s kind of the point.
