Let’s be honest, we are tired of those New York tourist attractions. Times Square and Radio City are the most overrated photo locations. New York has way more to offer than what you see in the movies. It’s time to update our photo gallery and Instagram feed with these locations:
Squibb Park Bridge
Squibb Park Bridge is located in.. well, Squibb Park! This beautiful, renovated bridge starts in Squibb Park and ends in Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Whether you’re taking a stroll during the day or at sunset, you are guaranteed one of the best views of the skyline.
Rooftop At The Whitney Museum
Now this may come as no surprise to New Yorkers, but of course I had to add the Whitney Museum of American Art. This popular New York museum provides a fabulous rooftop overlooking the Chelsea Pier.
Although NoMo SoHo is a hotel for travelers, they have caught Native New Yorkers’ eye with their entrance design. NoMo SoHo has mastered creating its outside entrance to resemble a garden with its beautiful lights and plants.
Stone Street is located in the Financial District. With its architecture, it’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped foot into Quebec City, Canada. This lovely location will make the perfect photo for people who are looking for New York without the lights and tall buildings.
The Highline begins at West 34th Street and ends at Gansevoort & Washington Street. The High Line is best for a warm-weather stroll and photos with friends.
Last but certainly not least, The Edge is located in the Hudson Yards. The Edge has, by far, the most breathtaking views (you’ll agree with me once you visit). Nevertheless, the view is great for photos, and besides, it’s a sweet spot to take in the beautiful New York.
New York is one of the most aesthetically pleasing cities in the world. The next time you want to update your photography, think of these locations. I bet everyone will be obsessed.
